On March 3, a meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University with the participation of Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Head of the International Cooperation Department Kh. Yuldashev, Head of the Joint Educational Programs Coordination Department F. Rashidova, and Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology D. Djurayev. The university representatives received Mr. Sun, Education Counselor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Uzbekistan, and Ms. Zhang, an officer of the Consular Section of the Embassy.

During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening cooperation with the PRC in the fields of education and science, implementing joint educational programs, opening a Chinese language and HSK Test Center at the university, organizing internships and “Work and Travel” programs for students, and elevating mutually beneficial cooperation to a new level.

Following the meeting, an event dedicated to the Chinese New Year titled “The Charm of Han Style: A New Page of the Year of the Horse” was held at the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment. Students of the Chinese language group presented theatrical performances, national dances, and songs reflecting the rich cultures of China and Uzbekistan. The program left a strong impression on the guests.

At the conclusion of the event, the parties agreed to further develop international cooperation, identified its key areas, and outlined the tasks to be implemented at each stage.
