The event titled “The Singer of Spring and Loyalty” was held

On February 27, a spiritual and educational event titled “The Singer of Spring and Loyalty” dedicated to the 111th anniversary of the birth of the renowned poetess Zulfiya was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The event was organized at the initiative of the University Women’s Advisory Council and the primary organization of the Youth Union, in cooperation with the coordinators of the “Qizlarjon” and “Leader Girls” clubs of the faculties. The main purpose of the event was to further increase students’ interest in literature and art and to organize their leisure time in a meaningful and productive way.

The event was opened with an introductory speech by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work, Valijon Alijonovich Sadiyev, who spoke about the role and significance of Zulfiya’s творчество in our spiritual heritage.

During the program, stage performances dedicated to the poetess’s life and work were presented, and songs based on her poems were skillfully performed by students. The event created a festive and uplifting atmosphere for the participants.

At the end of the event, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the coordinators of the active “Qizlarjon” and “Leader Girls” clubs of each faculty of the university. This recognition became a worthy encouragement of their initiative and active participation.
