The Faculty of Translation Studies held an event titled “National Style and Traditional Clothing”.
On the initiative of Feruza Xabieva, Adviser to the Dean on Women’s Issues, the Faculty of Translation Studies organized the event “National Style and Traditional Clothing”. The event was held in a festive atmosphere enriched by the beauty and elegance of traditional Uzbek attire.
During the event, students participated wearing traditional Uzbek clothing that reflects the ancient values and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people. They showcased outfits made from atlas, adras, beqasam, zardozi, and other traditional fabrics, displaying the unique charm of national style.
Students also exchanged views on the history of national costumes, their patterns, colors, and symbolic meanings. The event not only provided aesthetic pleasure but also strengthened students’ sense of national identity, respect for their ancestors’ heritage, and responsibility for its preservation.
The “National Style and Traditional Clothing” event created a warm and respectful atmosphere within the faculty and encouraged appreciation of national values. It left unforgettable impressions on participants and played an important role in promoting cultural heritage.
