On January 29, 2025, a discussion was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding a master class conducted by M.F. Polvonova, a lecturer at the Department of Theoretical Aspects of the English Language No. 2 of the Second Faculty of English at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU).
M.F. Polvonova organized a master class on the topic "Modern Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages for Teachers of Foreign Languages in Non-Philological Educational Institutions."
A representative of UzSWLU delivered a speech, emphasizing that the future of foreign language education depends on the socio-political and economic conditions of society. They highlighted that the integration and globalization of various sectors on a global scale are elevating the importance of foreign language proficiency. It was also noted that the acceleration of integration processes increases professional and social demands on specialists, necessitating the training of competitive professionals for the global labor market.
