The Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University Reviewed the Construction of a New Student Dormitory
On August 7, the Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, accompanied by university officials, visited the construction site of a new student dormitory located at 4 Zakovat Street, Tashkent.
During the visit, the rector received detailed information from the responsible parties about the construction process, the activities carried out within the project, and compliance with technical and sanitary-hygienic standards.
This dormitory, being built in accordance with modern standards, is designed to provide comfortable and safe living conditions for future students. Special attention is being paid to engineering communications, internal infrastructure, energy efficiency, fire protection systems, and safety measures.
In his conversation with the builders, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov asked questions about the conditions being created — room capacity, sleeping and study areas, recreational zones, and compliance with hygiene requirements. He also gave important recommendations.
At the end of the visit, the rector instructed the responsible parties to complete the construction work on time and with high quality. He emphasized that the new dormitory should become not only a place for living but also a key space for students’ full education, recreation, and creative development.
