On November 14, in order to further increase the interest of students and young people in the art of theater, to spend their free time meaningfully and to discover talented students at the Uzbekistan State World Languages  University, the Rector's Cup stage of the Student Theatre studios competition was held under the slogan  "We are against drugs!".

The following faculties actively participated in the event:

-2nd Faculty of English
- Faculty of Oriental philology
- 3rd Faculty of English
- Faculty of English Philology
- Faculty of romance-Germanic philology
- Faculty of translation
- Faculty of Russian philology
- 1st Faculty of English
- Faculties of international journalism

The two-day event was held in an uplifting spirit with a distinctive performance by the students. Among the jury of the competition was Professor of the Institute of Arts and culture of Uzbekistan, theater and film actor Jumanov Isoktoy Muhammadovich.

The results of the event were as follows:

1st place: "amulet" team of the Roman-German faculty
2nd place: English 1st faculty distinguished rich team
3rd place: "Turon" team of the Faculty of translation

The winning teams were awarded a special diploma as well as the following cash prizes:

1st Place-5 crore,
2nd place-4 crore,
3rd Place-3 crore.

It is worth noting that the teams of each faculty participating in the competition skillfully performed their roles and received the applause of the audience.
