THE STATE OF STUDENT SAFETY AND PREVENTIVE WORK WAS REVIEWED AT UZSWLU

The Uzbekistan State University of World Languages reviewed the current state of efforts aimed at ensuring student safety, preventing offences, and effectively organizing preventive measures among young people.

Today, a meeting was held at the university with the participation of representatives of the working group of the Prosecutor’s Office of Uchtepa District, the university administration, and responsible staff to discuss the work being carried out in this area.

During the meeting, Rector of the University Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov provided information on the system established to ensure student safety, address students’ appeals, maintain public order on university premises, and identify potential risks and problematic situations at an early stage.

Particular attention was paid to ensuring safety in student residence halls, monitoring student attendance and social circumstances, organizing targeted preventive measures, and strengthening cooperation among responsible officials.

The working group representatives visited relevant university facilities and student residence halls, where they familiarized themselves with the existing safety system, control mechanisms, and the organization of preventive work.

During the review, the current situation was analyzed, and relevant tasks were assigned to responsible officials to address the identified issues, further strengthen student safety, prevent offences, and improve the effectiveness of preventive measures.
