On December 11, the Uzbekistan State World Languages University held the third stage of the large-scale rapid preventive event “Safe and Healthy Homeland.”

The event was opened by the university rector, Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov. In his speech, the rector emphasized that creating a safe and healthy environment for students, preserving their psychophysical health, and protecting them from drugs and psychotropic substances are among the most important tasks of today.

He also highlighted the need to protect young people from such harmful habits, to provide them with correct knowledge and moral values, and to conduct preventive work regularly and effectively. The rector stressed the importance of the responsibility of the entire university staff in this matter.

The event was attended by Akmal Bahramov, Colonel, Head of the Uchtepa District Internal Affairs Department; his deputy, Colonel Abdurashid Ochilov; and Senior Rapid Response Officer N.N. Djurayev of the group combating illegal circulation of narcotic and psychotropic substances. They delivered lectures to students on preventing the spread of drugs and psychotropic substances, forming a safe lifestyle, and legal responsibility issues.

Through this event, a safe and healthy lifestyle was actively promoted among UzSWLU students, preventive measures were effectively implemented to protect their psychophysical development, and a firm stance against harmful substances was reinforced.
