On February 27, the university stage of the "Kitobxon qiz (A reader girl)" competition was held in the Information Resource Center of UzSWLU with the participation of members of the Women's Advisory Council, dean's advisors and leaders of the "Qizlarjon Club (Girls' Club).
9 book-loving girls living in university dormitories selected from 9 faculties took part in the competition.
The following students won the competition:
1st place - Khilola Khamrayeva, a second year student of the OT group of the Russian Philology Faculty;
2nd place - Dilobarkhan Anvarkhonova from the 3rd English Faculty;
3rd place - Diyora Akramova from theTranslation Faculty.
The winners were presented with special diplomas and souvenirs by the Women's Council of the university.
At the end of the event, the leaders of the "Girls' Club" were presented with symbolic scarves by the Women's Advisory Council of the university.
This contest was important in increasing the love among female students for books, raising their morale and shaping their worldview.
