Today, on November 28, representatives of the International Academy of the Arabic Language of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited UzSWLU.
Deputy General Secretary of the Academy, Dr. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Abanmi, Head of Education Sector Dr. Saad bin Muhammed al-Kakhtani, Department of International Cooperation, Abdul Hamid Abdul Aziz, Director of Corporate Communication, Yasser bin Saleh Al-Juvayser were welcomed by the rector of UzSWLU, I. Tukhtasinov and representatives of the university administration.
As part of the visit, a bilateral meeting was organized and mutual acquaintance took place.
At the meeting, there were issues of improving the qualifications of Arabic language teachers, cooperation in the field of scientific research, assistance in obtaining Arabic language textbooks and training manuals from the Academy, assistance in sending Arabic language specialists from Saudi Arabian HEIs to teach at UzSWLU, introducing a joint doctoral program, opening an Arabic language test center at UzSWLU were discussed as well as agreements were reached on a number of issues, such as discussing the organizational and financial terms of mutual cooperation.
For information: The King Salman International Arabic Language Academy is an international language complex originally established as the King Salman International Arabic Language Complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to promote the Arabic language. The Academy was established in September 2020 by the decision of the Council of Ministers under the Ministry of Culture.
