Together we fight against drug addiction!

In Tashkent city, urgent preventive measures continue within the framework of the "Safe and Healthy Capital" month. In this regard, informational meetings are being organized with young people, where they are provided with information on the negative aspects of drug addiction, its harmful effects on health and mental well-being, and the legal consequences of engaging in drug-related activities.

One of these meetings was organized by the Uchtepa District IIO FMB with the students of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. Representatives of the university administration also participated in the meeting.

In the meeting, Colonel Dilmurod Mirsadikov, the head of the Uchtepa District IIO FMB, emphasized that one of the global problems of society is drug addiction. Like everywhere else in the world, law enforcement officers in the capital are tirelessly fighting against the illegal circulation of drugs, psychotropic substances, and powerful narcotics. He pointed out that one of the most effective methods in the fight against this issue is to develop immunity against drug addiction. He stressed the importance of strengthening preventive and educational efforts, especially among young people. Additionally, during the meeting, it was emphasized that students should avoid joining groups or channels involved in the illegal sale of drugs on the internet, and if they have any information, they should report it to the IIO. During the lively event, students received comprehensive answers to their questions.

A total of 250 students and 27 faculty members participated in the event, where 200 flyers and brochures were distributed.
