Uzbekistan–China Educational Cooperation Enters a New Stage
On January 30, an important meeting aimed at further strengthening educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and China was held between the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (USWLU) and the Silk Road Innovation and Development Institute.
The meeting was attended by USWLU Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nosirov, Dean of the Faculty of English Language No. 1 G. Ergasheva, Leading Specialist of the International Relations Department V. Amanov, Methodologist of the International Relations Department M. Ogay, Director of the Silk Road Innovation and Development Institute A. Sharapov, Editor-in-Chief of Silk Road Publishing I. Ergashev, and President of the Chinese company Beijing Silk Road Culture Development Co. Ltd. Zhang Hongyan (Shirin).
It is worth noting that the Chinese company and institute, which are key partners in this educational project, possess extensive and successful experience in developing international educational integration, strengthening cultural ties, and supporting talented youth.
During the meeting, several priority areas were discussed:

attracting international students and supporting the admission process to USWLU’s bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral (PhD, DSc) programs;

jointly developing and distributing promotional and informational materials to present the university’s educational programs;

providing advisory and practical assistance to foreign applicants during the application and preparatory stages;

organizing joint scientific research, conferences, and seminars;

enhancing academic potential through the exchange of professors, researchers, and students;

implementing special educational programs and academic projects for women in cooperation with Women’s College.
This memorandum aims to elevate strategic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the fields of education, science, and culture to a new level. The agreement is an important document focused on strengthening bilateral academic relations, improving the quality of education, creating new opportunities for youth and women, and ensuring effective integration into the international educational environment.
