UzSWLU Delegation Discussed Prospects of Cooperation with Leading Foreign Universities

Within the framework of the international THE Global Sustainable Development Congress 2026, the delegation of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages held a series of meetings and negotiations with representatives of leading higher education institutions from various regions of the world.

 

 

In particular, discussions were held with representatives of Universitas Indonesia, BINUS University, Hasanuddin University, and Jakarta State University, as well as United Arab Emirates University and University of Zimbabwe.

During the meetings, participants discussed university performance in international rankings and shared best practices in education and research. In particular, Universitas Indonesia is ranked among the world’s top 200 universities in the QS World University Rankings 2026, United Arab Emirates University is recognized as one of the leading institutions in the UAE, while BINUS University is distinguished for its achievements in innovative education and digital transformation.

The discussions focused on developing academic cooperation, establishing faculty and student exchange programmes, implementing joint research projects, and expanding collaboration within international grants and conferences.

The meetings concluded with preliminary agreements on signing memorandums of cooperation, launching joint academic and research initiatives, and strengthening academic ties.

These engagements represent an important step toward expanding the international cooperation network of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, developing mutually beneficial partnerships with foreign universities, and strengthening its position in the global academic arena.
