UzSWLU Discusses Cooperation Opportunities with Japanese Delegation

A delegation comprising representatives of Japan’s Japan International Interaction and Development Association (JIDA) and representatives from Kazakhstan visited Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The guests were welcomed by university representatives led by Abdurakhim Nasirov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation. During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of international cooperation, the creation of new opportunities for students, and the strengthening of ties between education and industry.

Particular attention was given to opportunities for students studying Japanese at the university to undertake practical training at manufacturing enterprises in Japan. The parties exchanged views on preparing students for internships based on their Japanese-language proficiency and professional skills, as well as on opportunities to participate in internship programmes lasting 3, 4, or up to 6 months.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reached mutually beneficial agreements on establishing international internship programmes for students, expanding cooperation with Japanese organizations and companies, and implementing joint projects in the future.
