2026-08-05 11-42 UzSWLU Discusses Prospective Cooperation with Representatives of Korea's Englishunt Company
On 4 August 2026, the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU) hosted a meeting with representatives of the Korean company Englishunt.
The meeting was attended by the Rector of the University, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, senior administrators and specialists of the University, as well as a delegation led by Chungrim Han, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Englishunt.
During the meeting, the participants discussed a number of promising areas of cooperation aimed at the broad integration of digital educational technologies into the teaching and learning process, the effective use of artificial intelligence, and the advancement of English language teaching to a new level of quality.
Particular attention was paid to the introduction of the AI-powered Testglider online platform into the University's educational activities. The parties exchanged views on its application for IELTS preparation, diagnostic assessments, and mock examinations. They also discussed the platform's potential for assessing students' proficiency levels, providing personalised recommendations, and improving the overall effectiveness of exam preparation.
The participants further explored the prospects of using AI-based English language learning platforms for both school students and higher education students, while considering practical mechanisms for integrating these technologies into the educational process.
The meeting also addressed the organisation of professional development programmes for English language teachers, including the launch of joint training courses with the participation of international experts to further enhance teachers' professional competencies.
In addition, the parties reviewed proposals to establish a bilateral working group for the phased implementation of joint projects, define practical areas of cooperation, and discuss organisational issues related to platform utilisation, licensing, technical support, and financial arrangements.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, introducing advanced educational technologies into the University's academic practice, and jointly implementing promising future projects.
