From December 22 to 29, faculty members of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University successfully completed a short-term training course entitled “University Personnel Digital Ability Training and Education”, organized by Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU).

During the training, participants became closely acquainted with advanced digital technologies being implemented in the People’s Republic of China, their effective application in the educational process, as well as the activities of leading universities and major companies in the country.

Within the framework of the visit, negotiations were held between Professor Yuan Dayong of Beijing Foreign Studies University and P. Omanov, Head of the Integrated English Course Department, regarding the “Internship Programme”. In addition, discussions were conducted with Amanda Cora, Director of the BFSU Business School, on organizing an international conference in cooperation.

The training and meetings contributed to the development of digital competencies among the faculty members of UzSWLU and helped elevate academic cooperation between the two higher education institutions to a new level.
