UzSWLU Rector Reviews the Construction Progress of the New Student Dormitory
Today, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University (USWLU), together with the university's leadership and responsible officials, visited the construction site of the new student dormitory located at 4 Zakovat Street, Tashkent.
During the visit, the participants reviewed the progress of construction, the quality of the ongoing works, compliance with the approved project design, and issues related to completing and commissioning the facility within the established timeframe.
While inspecting the construction site, the Rector paid particular attention to ensuring that the buildings and facilities meet modern construction standards, as well as to the development of engineering and utility networks, internal infrastructure, fire safety measures, energy efficiency, and the creation of comfortable living conditions for students.
The discussion with the responsible officials also covered the arrangement of student rooms, study and independent learning areas, recreational facilities, household amenities, sanitary and hygiene conditions, and landscaping of the surrounding area. Appropriate recommendations were provided to further improve the project.
At the conclusion of the visit, Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov instructed those responsible to ensure that the construction is completed with high quality, within the scheduled timeframe, and in full compliance with all technical standards and regulations.
As emphasized during the visit, the new student dormitory will serve not only as a modern residence for students but also as a comfortable environment that supports quality education, research activities, meaningful leisure, and the comprehensive personal development of students. The project represents another significant step toward strengthening the university's infrastructure and enhancing the living and learning conditions provided for its students.
