UzSWLU Representative Explores the Activities of the Prestigious Universiti Malaya
As part of the international professional development program jointly organized by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), Professor Lochin Rustamovich Zaripov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Head of the Education Quality Assurance Department at Uzbekistan State World Languages University, visited Universiti Malaya, one of Malaysia’s leading higher education institutions.
During the visit, participants gained in-depth insights into quality assurance practices in higher education, the evaluation of academic programs based on international standards, institutional and program accreditation systems, and modern mechanisms for managing educational quality.
For reference, Universiti Malaya is recognized as Malaysia’s leading university and is consistently ranked among the world’s most prestigious higher education institutions in the QS World University Rankings.
The visit also provided an opportunity to study advanced practices in organizing educational processes, conducting research activities, implementing quality management systems, and expanding international cooperation. The knowledge and experience gained are expected to contribute to further improving educational quality, introducing international standards, and enhancing academic processes at Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
This international professional development program represents an important step toward elevating educational quality assurance at the university, expanding international engagement, and strengthening the institution’s global reputation.
