UzSWLU Representatives Participate in International Professional Development Program

From July 6 to 19 of this year, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Uzbekistan organized a special professional development program for Sinologists — scholars and teachers specializing in Chinese language, culture, and politics.

As part of this program, 17 Sinologists from various regions of Uzbekistan attended academic courses at Tianjin Normal University (天津师范大学). Participants also had the opportunity to visit Beijing, the capital of China.

Among the participants were Diyorakhon Aliyeva and Gulrukh Agzamova, instructors from Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

During the event, they enhanced their skills in teaching Chinese using modern methodologies, fostering interactive classroom engagement, and deepening intercultural communication.

The training course was based on China’s modern educational technologies, methodological resources, and proven practices, allowing the teachers to acquire new knowledge and skills, exchange experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of Chinese traditions and values.
