UzSWLU Students – Winners of the City Table Tennis Tournament

At the initiative of the “Ziyo Forum” International Foundation for the Development of Science, Education, and Upbringing, a city table tennis tournament was held from June 10 to 12 at the sports complex in the Mirzo Ulugbek district.

Students of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) participated honorably in the competition. The university team successfully advanced through the preliminary rounds and secured a place in the semifinals.

In the decisive matches held on June 12, Lolahon Qahramonkhojayeva, a student of the Faculty of International Journalism, emerged as the absolute winner of the tournament. Sabrina Safarova, a student of the Faculty of Russian Philology, earned a respectable third place.

The winners and prize holders were awarded cash prizes, memorable gifts, and certificates by the organizers.

Special recognition is due to the efforts of Shavkat Mukhamedjanov, senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports and an experienced coach, in helping our students achieve these victories.
