2026-06-08 11-51 Video Conference Meeting Held Under the Leadership of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation
Today, a video conference meeting was held under the leadership of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kungirotboy Sharipov, with participation of higher education institutions across the country.
The meeting discussed the effective organization of the 2026/2027 admissions process, strengthening systemic measures to prevent corruption, and ensuring transparency and fairness at all stages of the education system.
Priority tasks were also defined, including further enhancing the public status and reputation of professors and lecturers, promoting their academic and teaching activities, launching media projects in cooperation with mass media, and developing modern media content.
The Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov, together with the university leadership, participated online in the meeting and reviewed the assigned tasks and upcoming reforms in the sector.
