2026-09-09 09-22 Visit of Representatives of Sultan Idris Education University of Malaysia to UzSWLU
On September 8, a meeting was held at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU) with representatives of Sultan Idris Education University of Malaysia.
Malaysia was represented by Professor Dr. Raja Nor Safinas binti Raja Harun, Vice-Rector for Academic and International Affairs, and Associate Professor Dr. Norliza Jamaluddin, Deputy Dean for Academic and International Affairs.
UzSWLU was represented by Rector I. Tuxtasinov; J. Abduganiyeva, Director of the Network Center for Retraining and Professional Development of Pedagogical Personnel under UzSWLU; X. Yuldashev, Head of the International Relations Department; I. Haydarov, Dean of the 3rd Faculty of English; E. Muydinova, Head of the Department of Second Foreign Languages; and A. Yuldashev, Malay Language Instructor.
During the meeting, the parties discussed further development of cooperation in education and research, exchange of experience, and the implementation of new joint projects.
In particular, the participants exchanged views on organizing internships for Malaysian students at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, expanding faculty exchange programs, and organizing professional development courses for educators.
The parties also discussed the joint organization of international conferences and seminar trainings in both online and offline formats, as well as the co-authorship and publication of research articles in high-impact, internationally indexed academic journals.
Particular attention was paid to the establishment of joint educational programs and the provision of grants for students. It was emphasized that developing cooperation in these areas would contribute to expanding students’ international educational opportunities, increasing their academic mobility, and providing them with greater support.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and continue practical work in the identified areas.
