Visit to the Uzbekistan Polo Federation Organized within the “Healthy Family” Initiative

As part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages and the Uzbekistan Polo Federation, and with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people, another practical event was organized on 30 July 2026 in celebration of Youth Day.

Within the framework of this initiative, a delegation from the university visited the Uzbekistan Polo Federation at the initiative of O. Artikova, Specialist of the Department for Social and Psychological Environment of the Faculty of English Language No. 2, and E. Ochilov, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports.

During the visit, a meeting was held with officials of the Federation to discuss the objectives outlined in the Memorandum, the development of polo as a sport, broader youth engagement in sports, the meaningful organization of young people's leisure time, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

The participants were also provided with detailed information on the unique features of polo, the organization of training sessions, the available sports infrastructure, and the conditions created for the development of this sport. The meeting was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere, during which proposals were discussed regarding the organization of joint sports competitions, seminars, training sessions, and youth-oriented collaborative projects.

For information: On 30 July 2026, a trilateral Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Adolat Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Uzbekistan Polo Federation, and the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. The Memorandum provides for the development of sports, particularly polo, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among young people, and the implementation of sports competitions, seminars, training programmes, and joint projects.
