"We Are the Descendants of the Great Amir Temur!"

On April 9, a spiritual and educational event was held under the slogan "We Are the Descendants of the Great Amir Temur!" at the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment of the Uzbek State University of World Languages. The event was dedicated to the 689th anniversary of the birth of the great statesman, outstanding commander, and founder of a strong centralized state – Sahibqiron Amir Temur.

The event was attended by honored artist of Uzbekistan Anvar Azimov, film director and actor Dilmurod Masaidov, and theater and film actor Sobir Otajonov. They shared sincere thoughts about the historical personality of Amir Temur, his life and achievements, his just policies, and the priceless legacy he left for today's youth.

During the event, the significance of Amir Temur's figure in the history of the nation and the great contributions of the Timurid era to the development of science, literature, and art were widely highlighted. The participants emphasized the inspirational meaning of Sahibqiron’s wise sayings and advice, and their exemplary relevance for today’s youth.

Additionally, stage performances prepared by students were presented, artistically depicting key events from Amir Temur’s life and his policies based on patriotism and justice. Excerpts from the wisdom and advice written by Sahibqiron himself were also recited.
