PhD Dissertation Defense Successfully Held

On April 7, a session of the Academic Council at Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted the successful defense of a PhD dissertation in pedagogical sciences.

Ilona Khalitovna Israilova successfully defended her dissertation titled:
“A Model for Enhancing the English Communicative Competence of Medical University Students through Authentic TV Series (Case Study: ‘Dr. House’ Series)” in the specialty 13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Education and Training (English language).

The defense was attended by the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov, official opponents, and members of the Academic Council.
During the discussion, the relevance of the research, its scientific novelty, and the practical significance of the results were thoroughly analyzed.
