Department history
The Department of Natural Sciences was established on September 16, 2003 (Decree No. 1) at the II Faculty of English Philology on the basis of the order of the Rector of the University.

Scientific direction of the department: The department conducts scientific work on the topics “Scientific study of the bioecology of soils in Uzbekistan and agrotechnics of growing plants”, “The importance of a healthy lifestyle in ensuring life safety”. activities” and “The role of age-related physiology and hygienic science in the study of heredity and hereditary diseases”.

The department is provided with standard undergraduate programs, curricula and subjects. In the Information Resource Center of the University, printed and electronic literature on all disciplines taught at the department is in sufficient quantity and is fully provided.
Scientific and methodological work is well established at the department. There is a plan of scientific and methodological work for the each academic year. The teachers of the department use modern interactive methods of organizing training, visual aids, video and audio materials for studying and consolidating new material, they conduct independent classes in a very interesting way.
Professors and teachers of the department regularly publish textbooks, monographs, teaching aids, scientific articles in international and recognized UAC journals, abstracts at international scientific conferences and republican conferences. They carry out the tasks of the Government on food security, obtaining high yields of agricultural crops and soil fertility.
At the Uzbek State University of World Languages, a research institute "Ecology" was created from professors and teachers of the Department of Natural Sciences. Within the framework of the goals and objectives of the Research Institute "Ecology", the preparation and publication of monographs, textbooks, teaching aids, scientific and methodological materials, the opening of a doctoral program in the environmental field, the training of personnel with academic degrees, the issuance of expert opinions on dissertations
discussion and preparation of projects on environmental issues, health conservation, food security.
Members of the department are actively involved in the spiritual and educational work of the university, joining the initiative "Yashil Makon", an olive field is organized at the university. They carry out issues related to the education of students in the spirit of love for the Motherland, parents, teachers, science, responsibility for their future, health and safety, high morale.
