The conditions created for the development of foreign languages in our country create wide opportunities for the close cooperation of Uzbek professors and teachers of higher educational institutions with scientists and educational institutions of foreign countries.
On December 21 of this year, Professor Dilfuza Teshabayeva of Uzbekistan State World Languages University and PhD Mahfuza Ortikova met with Rector of Silesia University in Katowice, Poland, Professor Ritsart Koziolek, as well as representatives of the Polish Language and Culture Center.
During the negotiations, it was agreed to establish the exchange of Uzbek and Polish professors, researchers, students, to ensure the study of Uzbek youth studying the Polish language in the city of Katowice on the basis of the NAWA program of Poland, to organize seminars and trainings, master classes, and webinars in mutual cooperation.
- We are aware of the youth policy aimed at teaching science and foreign languages in Uzbekistan. We are pleased to cooperate with your country in the development of languages, - says the rector of the university Ritsart Koziolek. - To be honest, it is my dream to go to Uzbekistan. I have always been fascinated by the rich history, high culture and beautiful traditions of your country.
Master classes for philologists, diplomats and political science students with the participation of Uzbek experts, as well as a presentation on Uzbek customs and traditions, were met with great interest.
In 2024, a delegation of Polish professors headed by the Rector of the University of Silesia is planning to visit our country. Within the framework of this visit, a center of Polish language and culture will be established under the department of linguistic support of intercultural communication of the university.
