A Ceremonial Event Dedicated to the 33rd Anniversary of the Adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan Held at UzSWLU
At the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, a large-scale celebratory event was held in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event began with welcoming the guests and the performance of the National Anthem. This was followed by the screening of a video dedicated to Constitution Day.
The event was opened by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ch. M. Chutpulatov, who emphasized the role of the Constitution in the country’s development, its importance in protecting human rights and freedoms, and the need to enhance the legal culture of youth.
The event featured speeches by A. A. Makhmudov, Head of the Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel and Doctor of Law; R. T. Saidov, Head of Department, Colonel of the General Prosecutor’s Office; and F. F. Khatamov, Associate Professor, Lieutenant Colonel, and Head of Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs Advanced Training Institute. They discussed the democratic principles of the Constitution, ongoing legal reforms, and measures aimed at ensuring justice and the rule of law in society.
Professor N. Q. Jo‘rayev of UzSWLU provided insights into the scientific and legal foundations of the Constitution, the amendments introduced in the new edition, and their practical significance.
The cultural part of the event included national dances, the interactive program “Do You Know the Constitution?”, theatrical performances, and artistic presentations, which further enhanced the festive atmosphere.
