A Cooperation Meeting Held Between the Faculty Members of AU Languages University and UzSWLU

On 27 November, at the initiative of the faculty members of the Department of World Languages of the Faculty of International Relations and Regional Studies of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, and under the leadership of Doctor of Philology, Professor Nargiz Seyidova, a cooperation meeting was held between the faculty members of the Azerbaijan University of Languages and the Departments of General Linguistics and Applied Sciences of the English Philology Faculty No. 1 of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

The meeting was attended by six faculty members of the Department of General Linguistics — Farhod Yuldashev, Mubina Nosirova, Farogat Yuldasheva, Dilnoza Kholiqova, Malohat Sharipova, Dilshod Khojayev — as well as Dilshod Mukhitdinov, a lecturer from the Department of Applied Sciences.

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:

• expanding academic cooperation;

• establishing teacher and student exchange programs;

• implementing joint scientific-research projects;

• jointly organizing international conferences and scientific-practical events.

The parties reached an agreement to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
