A Cultural and Educational Event Dedicated to Hindi Language Day Was Held

On January 29, a cultural and educational event entitled “Hindi — A Means of Culture and Communication” was organized at the Second English Faculty of Uzbekistan State World Languages University in celebration of Hindi Language Day.

 

 

The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Mina, Director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Indian Cultural Centre, as a distinguished guest.

During the event, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the university, Abdurahim Nosirov, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of learning Hindi in today’s global context, as well as emphasizing the prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and India in the fields of education, culture, and science.

The event was also actively attended by the Head of the Department of Second Foreign Languages, E. K. Muydinova, and Hindi language instructors Umida Makhamadkhodjayeva and Aziza Yormatova.

Throughout the program, students showcased the national customs, traditions, dances, and poetry of India and Uzbekistan, vividly reflecting the cultural closeness and strong bonds of friendship between the two nations.

 

 

At the conclusion of the event, Mr. Mina donated valuable books on Indian history and culture to the university library, noting that this initiative would contribute to the development of academic and educational cooperation.
