A General Preventive Event on the Topic “Enlightenment Against Ignorance” Was Held

An event titled “Enlightenment Against Ignorance” was organized to strengthen spiritual and educational awareness among students and young people, reinforce ideological immunity, and promote a healthy socio-psychological environment.

The event was opened by D. Khamdamov, Head of the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality, and Enlightenment. In his speech, he emphasized that in the era of globalization, science, education, and independent thinking play a crucial role in combating various harmful ideologies and information threats.

During the event, the speakers highlighted the importance of protecting young people from negative influences, developing critical thinking skills, promoting religious tolerance, and encouraging the responsible use of the internet. The speakers included I. Junaydullayev, Senior Scientific Specialist at the Tashkent Islamic Institute, F. Khabiyeva, Head of the University Department for Socio-Psychological Environment, and S. Sherboyev, University Prevention Inspector.

At the end of the event, students received answers to their questions, and it was emphasized that guiding young people toward knowledge and enlightenment remains one of the most important tasks.
