A Meeting Was Held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University

On April 8, 2026, a meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University dedicated to the implementation of tasks outlined during the video conference on priority objectives in the field of physical education and sports, chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on April 7.

The meeting was chaired by the Rector of the university, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, and was attended by the university’s leadership and responsible staff members.

During the meeting, the priority tasks identified in the previous day’s video conference were discussed, and issues related to their implementation at the university level were thoroughly reviewed. In particular, specific measures were defined to promote sports among students, encourage a healthy lifestyle, expand the activities of sports clubs, and ensure the effective use of infrastructure.

Additionally, the current situation was analyzed, and instructions were given to address existing shortcomings, increase the number of students regularly engaged in sports, and establish systematic work in this area.

At the conclusion of the meeting, special emphasis was placed on ensuring the timely and high-quality implementation of the assigned tasks.
