A Meeting Was Held Between UzSWLU and Portsmouth University Professors

On March 6, a meeting was held at the Uzbek State University of World Languages with professors from the University of Portsmouth, UK. The discussion focused on projects being implemented within the framework of international cooperation.

The event was attended by UzSWLU Rector Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, officials responsible for international cooperation, and professors from the 3rd English Language Faculty. During the meeting with Portsmouth University professors Peter Watkins and Gulsa Kutuk Ag, the following topics were discussed:

 Joint projects to improve English language teaching, development, and testing of new curricula and programs;
 Organization of seminars and training sessions for English language teachers;
Other issues related to further strengthening cooperation.

The meeting was productive, and both parties agreed to further enhance collaboration in the future.
