A Meeting Was Held with Students of Toyo University
Today, a meeting with a delegation from Toyo University (Japan) was held at O‘zbekiston davlat jahon tillari universiteti.
During the meeting, the Rector of the university Ilxomjon Tuxtasinov welcomed the guests and provided information about the university’s international cooperation activities, student exchange programs, and prospects for collaboration with foreign higher education institutions.

As part of the visit, the guests are participating in practical classes at the university, studying the Uzbek language and culture, and communicating with students. In addition, according to the program, after completing the internship the delegation members plan to visit the historical and cultural landmarks of the cities of Buxoro and Samarqand.
The meeting was also attended by the Head of the International Cooperation Department X. Yuldashev, Head of the Department of Japanese Philology N. Hamidova, and Japanese language teachers M. Ibragimova and M. Umarova.

This visit is being carried out within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between the two universities.
According to the program, from March 4 to March 14, 2026, 10 students of Toyo University, accompanied by two instructors, are undertaking an internship at Uzbekistan State World Languages University. The program is funded by the Japanese side.
During the internship, the students will also live with Uzbek host families, giving them the opportunity to closely experience the culture and lifestyle of Uzbekistan.
