A Meeting Was Held with Volunteers from Germany’s SES Organization at UzDJTU

On April 10th, an important meeting was held at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages with volunteers from Germany's SES (Senior Experten Service) organization, Astrid Hornoff and Petra Runge.

The meeting was attended by the Rector of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, Ilkhomjon Tuhtasinov, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, the Head of the International Cooperation Department X. Yuldashev, the Dean of the Translation Faculty U. Yo'ldoshev, the Dean of the Faculty of English Philology Y. Azamov, and the Head of the Department of Translation Theory of Germanic and Romance Languages at the Translation Faculty L. Khaliyarov.

During the meeting, several important issues were discussed with the aim of further developing cooperation between Uzbekistan State University of World Languages and SES. These included:

• Improving methods of teaching the German language;

• Assisting in updating the curriculum and programs for German language courses;

• Providing information on opportunities for students to study at German universities;

• Reaching agreements on establishing connections with German universities.

This meeting contributed to strengthening bilateral scientific and educational cooperation.
