A Preventive Event Held on the Topic “We Are Against Drug Addiction”

At the Faculty of International Journalism, a preventive event titled “We Are Against Drug Addiction” was organized under the leadership of the Deputy Dean for Spiritual and Educational Affairs D. Khoshimova and tutors S. Kholmuradov, M. Abdullayeva, S. Rakhmatova, N. Aminova, and K. Mamadaliyeva. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Alisher Matyakubov, inspectors of the Chilonzor District Department of Internal Affairs — Lieutenant Mamatkulov Khayrulla Tursunpulatovich and Senior Lieutenant Eshplatova Sevinch Akbarjon qizi, as well as faculty staff members.

During the event, detailed information was provided about the harmful consequences of drug addiction among youth and its negative impact on both individuals and society. Specialists gave lectures on effective methods of combating drug addiction, the importance of preventive measures, and the necessity of promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people.

An open discussion was also held with students, and specialists thoroughly answered the questions raised on the topic. The main purpose of the event was to strengthen awareness among students, protect them from harmful habits, and guide them toward a healthy lifestyle.
