A Promotional Seminar Dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of Independence Was Held at the Ministry of Sport

A promotional seminar dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the state independence of Uzbekistan was held at the Ministry of Sport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, located in the Olympic Village.

The seminar was attended by Sharifjon Momindjanov, Adviser to the Minister of Sport, employees of the ministry’s central office, and representatives of organizations within the ministry’s system.

The event included an exchange of views on the content and significance of the speech delivered by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the country’s state independence, the ideas put forward in the speech, the reforms being implemented in the country, and future priority tasks.

The seminar featured presentations by Mansur Yunusov, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, and member of the “Ma’rifat” Association of Promoters; Zebiniso Khayrullayeva, PhD in Psychology, Acting Associate Professor at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, and member of the “Ma’rifat” Association of Promoters; and Sukhrob Khidirov, PhD in Sociology, Associate Professor, and Head of the RMM Department.

The presentations covered Uzbekistan’s development path during the years of independence, history, national identity, spiritual heritage, human dignity, freedom, education and knowledge, healthy lifestyles, youth-related issues, as well as the substance and significance of the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country and future priority tasks.

Particular attention was paid to developing a deeper understanding of the tasks outlined in the President’s speech, communicating them to the wider public, further strengthening spiritual and educational activities within the sports system, and fostering patriotism among young people.

At the end of the seminar, the participants familiarized themselves with the activities of the Uzbekistan State Academy of Sport.
