A Psycho-Educational Discussion on Child Psychology Was Held

On January 20, a psycho-educational discussion in the field of child psychology was organized by Z. T. Khayrullayeva, a psychologist at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The event took place in the mother-and-child room located in the university’s main building and was attended by students’ children as well as female students who are mothers.

During the discussion, the key concepts of the subject “Developmental Psychology” were explained. Detailed information was provided on early childhood psychological development, emotional and volitional states, the formation of cognitive processes—perception, memory, thinking, and attention—as well as the importance of emotional bonding between mother and child.

In addition, special emphasis was placed on the favorable conditions created for student mothers, including the psychologically adapted environment of the mother-and-child room and the opportunities aimed at supporting children’s social adaptation.
