A Spiritual and Educational Event Titled “In Memory of Muhammad Yusuf” Held at UzSWLU
On April 26, Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted a spiritual and educational event titled “In Memory of Muhammad Yusuf”, dedicated to the birthday of the People’s Poet of Uzbekistan.
The event was opened by Valijon Sadiyev, the university’s First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work. In his speech, he emphasized Muhammad Yusuf’s unique place in Uzbek literature, the reflection of national values and humanistic ideas in his poetry, and the fact that his works have been translated into many languages.
The poet’s relatives and former classmates also took part in the event, sharing heartfelt memories of their youth spent together with Muhammad Yusuf, as well as touching and memorable stories.
The event dedicated to the memory of Muhammad Yusuf left a profound impression on attendees and highlighted the enduring significance of his literary legacy.
