A Working Meeting Was Held Under the Chairmanship of the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University

On March 30, a working meeting was held in Tashkent under the chairmanship of the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University. The meeting was chaired by the Rector of the university, I. Tukhtasinov.

All vice-rectors, the Rector’s adviser, faculty deans, and heads of departments and divisions took part in the meeting.

In accordance with the agenda, the participants first discussed a number of events planned to be held at the university in April 2026. In particular, information was presented on preparations for the “New Uzbekistan Students Olympiad,” the “Minister’s Cup” field hockey competition, the “Students League,” and the “Student-Runner” volunteer running marathon.

Issues related to the employment of graduates of the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 academic years, as well as matters concerning the publication of books authored by members of the teaching staff, were also considered.

During the meeting, the implementation status of the university’s development target indicators for 2026 at the faculty and department levels was thoroughly analyzed.

In addition, information was presented on the university’s investment program planned for 2026, tasks within the framework of international cooperation, as well as the activities of the Department for the Coordination of Joint Educational Programs and the admission process.

At the end of the meeting, relevant instructions were given regarding the issues discussed.
