On January 16, 2026, a scientific seminar entitled “THE LAW OF HARMONY — SINGARMONISM (Singarmonism)” was held at our university.

The seminar was conducted at a high academic level by Associate Professor of the Department of Second Foreign Languages, Azerbaijani language instructor Ms. Sevinj Musayeva. During the event, the theoretical foundations of the phenomenon of singarmonism, its role in the system of Turkic languages, as well as its impact on phonetic and morphological processes were thoroughly explained with clear examples.

Faculty members of the department actively participated in the seminar, addressing their questions related to the topic. Ms. Musayeva’s scientifically grounded, clear, and well-articulated answers further enlivened the discussions and enabled a deeper understanding of the subject.

The scientific seminar was rich in lively discussions, questions and answers, and exchange of ideas. Participants drew important conclusions regarding the significance of the law of singarmonism in foreign language teaching and the possibilities of its effective application in practical classes.
