ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE USWLU NATIONAL TEAM AT THE “STUDENTS LEAGUE” SPORTS COMPETITION

On April 9–10, the city stage of the “Students League” kurash (traditional wrestling) competition among male and female students was held at the “Sag‘bon” wrestling center in Tashkent.

Strong athletes from higher education institutions of the capital participated in the competition, competing in various weight categories. The matches were highly intense and competitive.

It is worth noting that the members of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (USWLU) national team achieved outstanding results, winning a total of 1 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals, and securing a ticket to the republican final stage.

3rd place — Muhammadjon Mamajonov (1st Faculty of English)
3rd place — Ro‘zihol Pardayeva (Faculty of English Philology)
3rd place — Oltinoy Javboriyeva (Faculty of Romance-Germanic Philology)

These results once again demonstrate the strong sporting potential of the university’s students. The team is now continuing its preparations for the republican final stage to achieve even higher results.
