ACTIVITIES OF THE SITUATION CENTER REVIEWED

During President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to the “Yoshlik” Student Campus in Almazar District, relevant tasks were assigned concerning the activities of the Situation Center established there and its role in ensuring the safety of students and young people. The implementation of these tasks was reviewed.

Today, a meeting was held at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages with the participation of a working group from the Prosecutor’s Office of Uchtepa District, the Rector and representatives of the university administration, as well as responsible staff members.

During the meeting, the Rector of the University, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, introduced the participants to the activities of the Situation Center established at the university, its main functions, and its operating mechanism.

The center operates on the basis of digital technologies and enables the university to ensure student safety, monitor the social environment on campus in real time, monitor attendance, and prevent offenses.

Following the meeting, members of the working group, accompanied by the university administration, visited the student residences, where they directly familiarized themselves with the activities of the Situation Center and examined its operational processes.

During the review, the work being carried out to ensure student safety, conduct real-time monitoring of the situation, prevent offenses, and respond promptly to potential problems was examined.

Following the review, the working group members drew relevant conclusions and issued instructions and recommendations to responsible officials aimed at further strengthening security measures, improving the existing system, conducting targeted work with students, and ensuring the effective operation of the Situation Center.
