AN AWARENESS-RAISING AND PREVENTIVE EVENT HELD AT UZSWLU UNDER THE THEME “HOW DO I UNDERSTAND AWARENESS? IF YOU ARE ALERT, YOU…”
On November 5, an awareness-raising and preventive event entitled “How Do I Understand Awareness? If You Are Alert, You…” was organized under the leadership of M. Yuldosheva, a specialist from IPMBIB, with the participation of students from Arabic, Turkish, and Japanese language groups.
The event was attended by S. Sherboyev, the university's prevention inspector, and U. Nazarov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology. They provided students with explanations on preventing offences and crime, respecting the law, following personal safety rules, and fulfilling their civic responsibilities to society.
During the event, participants discussed the importance of awareness and vigilance in everyday life, the negative consequences of indifference and carelessness, and the importance of responding responsibly to events and developments in their surroundings.
Special attention was paid to the safe use of the internet and social media, identifying fraudulent activities, being cautious of suspicious offers, and protecting oneself from misinformation and harmful ideological influences. Students were also informed about the importance of critically evaluating information and relying on trustworthy sources.
The meeting continued in an open-discussion and question-and-answer format. Students shared their opinions on the topic and asked the specialists questions about various situations they may encounter in everyday life.
The discussion also covered meaningful ways for young people to spend their free time, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, avoiding harmful habits, understanding their rights and responsibilities, and developing independent decision-making skills.
The event aimed to enhance students' legal awareness and culture, strengthen their knowledge of personal safety, and foster a sense of social responsibility and civic engagement.
