An Expanded Departmental Scientific Discussion of a Dissertation Was Held
On June 2, the university hosted another expanded departmental scientific discussion within the specialty 10.00.06 — Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics and Translation Studies.
During the discussion, the dissertation entitled “Communicative and Pragmatic Aspects of the Verbalization of Non-Categorical Statements in English and Russian” by Nigora Abdulkhayevna Muxamedova, submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences in the specialty 10.00.06 — Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics and Translation Studies, was reviewed.
Participants thoroughly discussed the relevance, scientific novelty, theoretical significance, and practical value of the dissertation research. Reviewers and the expert provided their comments, recommendations, and observations regarding the research findings.
At the conclusion of the discussion, the relevant conclusions and recommendations concerning the dissertation were adopted.
