An extended meeting of the department was held at the Department of World Literature.

On June 1, the Extended Department meeting of the Department of World Literature of the Uzbekistan World Languages University was held.

It discussed the doctoral student Murodova Dilnavoz Nizomovna's dissertation on 10.00.04 - "Language and literature of the peoples of Europe, America and Australia" on the topic "Poetics of the image of Indians in Fenimore Cooper's novels" for obtaining the degree of Doctor of Philology (PhD).

O. Yusupov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations, researchers and professors of the department took part in the discussion.

During the department's discussion, the researcher spoke about the results of the research carried out within his topic, its novelty, and gave reasonable answers to the questions. Formal and informal reviewers provided recommendations to the researcher.
