An Important Information Session Was Held for First-Year Students of the 3rd Faculty of English at USWLU

On April 16, an important informational session was organized at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University for first-year students of the 3rd Faculty of English.

The event was dedicated to thoroughly explaining the content of the Regulation “On the Procedure for Providing and Redistributing Student Grants in Higher Education Institutions,” approved by the Resolution No. 149 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 10, 2025.

The event was actively attended by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, the Head of the Educational and Methodological Department, the Head of the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment, the Dean of the Faculty, deputy deans, tutors, and first-year students.

During the meeting, detailed explanations were provided regarding the procedures for allocating state grants, their redistribution mechanisms, and key criteria. In particular, the differences between full and partial state grants, additional state grants, and university grants were clearly explained with practical examples.

Information was also provided about the activities of the relevant commissions involved in the grant allocation process, the application procedures for students, required documents, and established deadlines.

At the end of the session, students received answers to their questions and gained a clear understanding of the grant system and important aspects of the educational process.
