An International Scientific and Practical Conference Was Held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University
On May 19, the 12th International Scientific and Practical Conference on community development entitled “Strengthening Communities through Education, Innovation, and Policy Reforms: Pathways toward a More Just and Sustainable Future” was organized at the initiative of the Department of Integrated English Course 3 of Uzbekistan State World Languages University in cooperation with the prestigious Muhammadiyah Malang University of Indonesia.

The conference focused on the role of education, innovation, and policy reforms in social development, the expansion of international academic cooperation, and the advancement of modern scientific approaches.
The conference was opened by the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor Ilkhomjon Madaminovich Tukhtasinov. In his speech, he emphasized that improving the modern education system, strengthening international scientific relations, and supporting innovative initiatives are among today’s priority tasks.
The conference brought together distinguished scholars, experts, and specialists from various countries around the world. Among the speakers were Akhsanul In’am, Vice-Rector of Muhammadiyah Malang University; Professor Ganisher Khudoyqulovich Rahimov of UzSWLU; Giuseppe Chiaramonte, representative of the U.S. Department of State and expert of the English Language Fellow Program; Associate Professor Yasmine Nasution from the University of Indonesia; Associate Professor Irina Leonidovna Aristova from Far Eastern Federal University of Russia; and Professor Judit Kovács Molnárné from the University of Debrecen, Hungary.
Within the framework of the conference, memorandums aimed at further developing international cooperation were signed. In particular, it was noted that the signing of cooperation memorandums between Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Muhammadiyah Malang University, and Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi would elevate scientific and academic relations between the parties to a new level.

In addition, sectional meetings were organized during the conference in the fields of education, linguistics, methodology, artificial intelligence, social sciences and humanities, economics, ecology, and sustainable development. Professors, researchers, doctoral students, and students participated with their scientific studies and innovative projects.
The international scientific and practical conference was recognized as an important academic platform for exchanging experience, discussing advanced scientific ideas, and fostering promising international cooperation.
