On October 10, the 2nd meeting of the Council of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages was held.

During the meeting, the work carried out at the university, future plans, and other designated issues were discussed, and beneficial exchanges of opinions took place.

In particular, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation’s order dated July 15, 2024, No. 247 on “Conducting the Olympiad in Foreign Languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic) among students of higher education institutions of the Republic,” the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages’ order dated September 10, 2024, No. 363 on “Conducting the university stage of the Olympiad in Foreign Languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic) among students of higher education institutions of the Republic,” and the university's order dated September 19, 2024, No. 373 on “Organizing the republican stage of the Olympiad in Foreign Languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic) among students of higher education institutions of the Republic” were discussed.

As previously reported, the Republican stage of the Olympiad in Foreign Languages was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages on September 26-27, 2024.

During the meeting, officials who actively participated in organizing and fulfilling the spiritual and organizational aspects of conducting the Republican stage of the Olympiad, as well as in forming the question bank for each condition, establishing evaluation criteria, ensuring the necessary equipment and technical resources for the Olympiad process, and widely covering the events in the mass media were awarded certificates of appreciation.
