On May18, 2024, the Uzbekistan state world languages university will hold an international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Actual problems of Comparative Linguistics and Literature and Modern Technologies in their Teaching". This conference is devoted to actual problems of English and Uzbek linguistics. Professors, teachers, specialists, researchers and talented students and graduate students of foreign countries and our republic are invited to participate in the international scientific-practical conference. The program and abstracts will be published after the conference. Directions to be discussed at the conference: Actual problems of comparative and contrastive linguistics The importance of interactive methods in teaching foreign languages The role of comparative linguistics in teaching foreign languages Relationship of linguistics with linguocultural studies and linguopragmatics Methodology of teaching the theory and practice of translation Reflection of comparative literary studies in literary translation Theses for participation in the conference will be accepted until may 16, 2024. Conference participants will be awarded with a Certificate. The conference materials are indexed in the international Google Scholar database Requirements for the conference materials to be presented: Abstracts should be sent through the Jahon tillari konferensiya telegram group (file in Word format - first author's last name, for example: "nabiev.doc"). Abstract and keywords in the thesis must be in the language of the article. The thesis and the application should be filed in two files and sent in one letter. The presented thesis is written in A4 format with 3-5 pages in Times New Roman version 14 font. The dimensions of the borders of the paper: from the left - 2.5 cm, from the right - 2.0 cm, from the top - 2.5 cm and from the bottom - 2 cm. 1.0 cm is left for the beginning of the line. Text should be aligned widthwise. 1.5 spacing between rows. The title of the article is written in a bold font in the center. The next line is skipped. The author's name, surname, academic degree and title are written on the next line.The full name of the organization, city, state are written in small letters without leaving a line under them. The next line is skipped and the text of the article is written from the next line. References to sources should appear in [1] within the main text (see example). Working languages of the conference: Uzbek, Russian and English. Abstracts and applications for participation in the international conference will be accepted until the May 16, 2024. The organizing committee has the right to select scientific materials. Only abstracts of authors recommended for publication by members of the editorial board will be published.
